About Me

My Background and Experience

After graduating from the University of St Mark and St John as a Speech and Language Therapist I worked for two years within community clinics, mainstream schools and a specialist nursery for children with language difficulties in Greenwich, London. A large part of my role was training parents and teachers in small groups and whole-school environments regarding speech, language and communication needs and various interventions.

In 2020 I moved back to my home county of Dorset where I now work within the NHS Speech and Language Therapy Service for 0-18 year olds in community clinics, preschools and mainstream primary and secondary schools, alongside my independent work.

When I'm not working I love going for tea and cake with my husband, Noel, and daughter, Bonnie, playing board games and exploring the beautiful countryside and beaches around us.
